OUR STORY

Soch Design Studio is a multidisciplinary practice based in Mumbai that focuses on Architectural projects, Interior projects to the scale of Interior products, Decor and Furniture design.

Founded by our Principal Architect, Romit Savla, in 2017 the studio began exploring a new arena of design by integrating contemporary and vernacular languages together and experimenting with intelligent systems of detail.

With a portfolio of more than 50 clients, the studio grows with our team of experienced architects, designers, excellent craftsmen that approach each scale of project meticulously.

The inception of the product design vertical at Soch was motivated by the challenges encountered while sourcing loose furniture from third-party vendors, which often lacked quality and functionality. Consequently, after meticulous efforts to gather skilled artisans and setting up a workshop space, the product design vertical was launched in September 2022, with a vision of providing aesthetically pleasing, ergonomic, and high-quality products that embody a keen attention to detail. This is in line with Soch's overarching goal of delivering creative, functional, and architecturally appealing products to its customers

OUR JOURNEY

Since its birth, the studio has focused on creating an experience in living, and upscaling the mundane spaces into a vision. The detailing of each space is achieved by creating subtle languages through the play of materials, colour, composition and a dialogue between the clients and designers.

Each space/home is systematically planned and strategized to increase efficiency of utility, optimize the usage of space, and create a unique flow of pattern that shapes the overall vision of the client's home perfectly in the given timeframe.
